Interviews usually take place in person at Excelsior Hotel Ernst in Cologne. If an in-person appointment is not possible, we will be happy to arrange a virtual interview. During the interview, you will meet a member of our Human Resources team as well as the relevant Head of Department. Creating an open and welcoming atmosphere is important to us. We would like to learn more about you while also giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. If your interview takes place in person, we will also be happy to show you around the hotel afterwards and give you a first impression of your potential future workplace in the heart of Cologne.

On your first working or trial day, you will be personally welcomed and accompanied by our Human Resources team. After a brief tour of the hotel, you will receive your uniform, if required for your position, before being accompanied to your department. There, you will meet your team, get to know your workplace and gain a first insight into the day-to-day routines of your future role. It is important to us that you feel well looked after and welcome from the very beginning.

Yes, absolutely. We are always happy to receive speculative applications, even if there is currently no suitable vacancy advertised.
